All our candles are handcrafted with 100% US-grown soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance & essential oil blends and cotton wicks. Soy candles are made of soy wax which is a vegetable wax extracted from soybeans. With further hydrogenation, the soybean oil is then converted to its milky coloured solid form at room temperature. Hence, unlike paraffin and beeswax; it is 100% natural, renewable and sustainable. With its plant-based origin, it burns cleaner and up to 50% longer than conventional paraffin candles.

At Borneo Candle Studio, we strive to create high quality products with the best ingredients possible. We source all our professional grade and premium ingredients directly from suppliers all around the world.

Our soy candles are scented to the maximum with months of testing behind each of them. That being said, the nature of soy candles is slow burning and releases scent gradually vs immediate strong wave of scent. We believe candles & home fragrances should complement and elevate your living space, not overwhelm your senses.

To ensure your space is well-scented, we recommend using each product based on the space size:
• 3.5oz candles: Small spaces such as desk, bathroom, etc
• 7.7oz candles: Coffee tables, counter tops, nightstands - basically everywhere!

Following proper candle care, our 3.5 oz candles burn for approximately 20-30 hours. As for 7.7 oz candles, the burn time is approximately 45-55 hours.

We use 100% natural soy wax in our candles without any additives. For the best experience, we recommend to use your candles within 12 months of purchase and keep your candles away from direct sunlight with the lid on.

Currently we are accepting payments through online local bank transfer to CIMB BANK (Malaysia) or BIBD and Baiduri (Brunei).

If you are ordering outside of Brunei or do not have a local bank account, we do accept PayPal or Stripe.
